Local Activities
There is a wealth of things to do in the surrounding countryside, the Limousin is a perfect area for walking, and some good walks can be had directly from ‘La Retreat’. You can also go horse riding and fishing locally, both carp fishing and coarse fishing are available.
Bird watchers will enjoy watching a variety of birds in the area and it is lovely to watch the buzzards circling on the thermals. We are under the migratory paths and during spring and autumn, migrating birds can easily be seen, including huge flocks of storks.
We are in a beautiful position for people with a passion for painting and drawing, with lovely views without leaving your terrace.
